Upgrade your CPU on your own

 Before you upgrade:-

        Be sure the new CPU is compatible with the same socket as your old CPU. Now grab these things:-

                            1. Screw driver

                            2. Thermal Paste

                            3. Clean cloth

                            4. Isopropyl Alcohol


Removing existing CPU:-

        After you exposed your motherboard to air first use the screw driver to unscrew the cooler from the CPU. Now use the clean cloth and Isopropyl Alcohol to clean the top of the CPU, so that it can be used in the future again. Now refer to your motherboard manual and see the  instructions to remove your CPU. Different sockets uses different method of CPU removal. 


Installing new CPU:-

        After removing your old CPU gently place your new CPU in that position. There are symbol the CPU socket and also on the CPU to guide you about the orientation of the CPU. Now follow the instructions from motherboard manual to lock the CPU to its socket. After that don't forget to apply the thermal Paste before placing the CPU cooler.


Congratulations you have successfully managed to upgrade your CPU on your own.
