How to upgrade ram in your Pc?

Before Upgrading Ram:-

            Make sure that you know how many ram slot does your pc have and what maximum memory clock speed does your motherboard supports. Always refer to your motherboard manual for those details.


Removing Ram:-

            Once you open up your Pc case you will find your installed ram right beside your CPU socket. You will see each ram slot has either two latch at both the sides or they have a single latch at one of its side.

        Two sided latch:

                For two sided latch gently press both the latch at the same time so that your already installed ram will pop out and now it is safe to remove your ram.

        One sided latch:

                If the ram slot has only a single latch then press that latch gently and your ram should pop out. Now remove the ram.


Installing Ram:-

                First open the latch of the ram-slot where you want to install new ram. Now place your ram on the slot and gently push down and make sure you applying pressure uniformly. If you do so you will see the latches will automatically hold the ram into position.


Congratulations, you have successfully upgraded your ram. Just turn on your pc and your system will automatically detect the new upgrade.
